North American VASA Trail @ Timber Ridge Resort
To celebrate Heart Health Month, we have initiated a tour starting at 1pm Sunday February 19th. You can ski or snowshoe with your special someone or with friends at your own casual pace. Distances up to 16km will be available on our immaculately groomed trails.
After your ski and/or snowshoe outing, return to our warm and cozy lodge to enjoy special live music and taste some heart health "super-foods."
Raffle tickets will be available to win a Healthy Heart Red Dress, custom designed by Maggie Quinn. This world-class dress designer has created a brilliant red evening dress and generously donated the dress to support the Munson Women's Heart Health Fund.
Free cross-country or snowshoe rentals have been donated by Brick Wheels for the first 25 registrants. Additional rentals will be available with all proceeds to benefit the Munson Women's Heart Health Fund.

With the Vasa Pathway trailhead connecting to Timber Ridge-maintained, on-site trails, there is a year-round flurry of activity on the trails.
Some people get confused about the two systems, so the easiest way to understand it is that Timber Ridge has its own trail system for hikers, bikers, skiers and snowshoers, about five kilometers, that is groomed and maintained by Timber Ridge Resort. These trails link up to the miles and miles of Vasa Pathway trails in the Pere Marquette State Forest. This system is well known and respected by outdoor enthusiasts and is the site of the annual North American VASA Festival of Races cross-country ski races.
